Terence Berry
Executive Director
Terence Berry began his career in New York with Citibank’s Media & Entertainment Group, where he helped the major studios secure financing for their slate of films.
Desiring to work more closely with filmmakers, Terence left banking and began producing short films, including Scott Teems’ award-winning, A Death in the Woods. Additionally, Terence helped launch and run the Damah Film Festival and served as an Associate Producer on the Discovery Channel’s Monster Garage.
That Evening Sun marks Terence’s first feature-film and his continued work with writer-director, Scott Teems. The film stars Hal Holbrook and premiered at the 2009 SXSW film festival where it won the Audience Award for Best Feature. The film went on to win awards at several other festivals, garnered two Indie Spirit nominations and was released theatrically in the fall of 2009.
Terence is currently attached to produce Not That Funny, an independent film starring Tony Hale. Shooting is to begin later this year.
Terence is a graduate of the University of Virginia as well as the Act One Executive Program.
