Prayer and spiritual awakening have been a hallmark of Gary and Sue's ministry. Gary's life has also been marked by a deep passion for film and culture. At Biola University (and later Bethel University) he helped pioneer the use of film in Christian higher education. In the early 90's he developed a course utilizing Academy Award winning films to teach worldview, ethics and theology and was awarded Biola's senior class faculty member of the year for his efforts. At Gordon college and Crown College he was known for his use of film and film references in chapel and leadership development programs. Gary's passion for spiritual formation and film are outweighed only by his love for his Savior, his wife and his four children.
