FEATURE & TV WRITING TRACKS

“Mentoring Act One students is my way of encouraging and empowering the next generation of screenwriters.”

-Monica Macer, Act One Faculty, Writer, Lost (ABC), Prison Break (Fox)

“My small group mentor, Amy Snow, is a dream to work with and tailors her comments to each of our styles.”

– Tish Dragonette, EP ’09, WP ’10

My mentor has been amazing and incredibly helpful. In fact I’m off to meet her right now for some final notes.”

–Matt Mead, WP January ‘10

“My mentor’s feedback was very positive and that was encouraging!  He helped me pick which of my ideas worked best all the way through to the final draft.  He was also great at making sure that, even if I thought of a funny scene, I still took into account having a storyline reach an emotional end for the character for whom the storyline began.”

– Tara Causland, WP ’09
