MISSION

Act One, Inc., exists to create a community of Christian professionals for the entertainment industry who are committed to excellence, artistry, and personal holiness, so that through their lives and work they may be witnesses of Christ and the Truth to their fellow artists and to the global culture.

VISION

1.  To provide high level training for the various fields that make up the entertainment industry;

2.  To prepare artists and creative professionals to be ambassadors for Christ in the heart of the entertainment industry;

3.  To form creative professionals in ethics and spirituality so as to fortify them against the pressures of the entertainment business;

4.  To develop a brand of entertainment that unites mastery of craft with an unusual quality of depth;

5.  To foster the growth of a vibrant and dynamic community of skilled artists who are united in love for Christ;

6.  To be a reference point for production entities by providing personnel referrals and consultation services;

7.  To own and operate a center in Hollywood to support our various programs and over-riding vision;. 

8.  To engage the Christian church and the broader industry in a discussion about the role of the artist in culture, the power of beauty, and the ethics of entertainment creation;

9.  To serve as a wide bridge connecting and translating between the broader Christian community and the entertainment communities;

10 To set an example of the tremendous benefits to be found in interdenominational collaboration and friendship.
