ACT ONE PROLOGUE READINGS

Prologue Readings are designed to give selected scripts readings by professional actors in a day-long workshop setting in order to give a script written by a promising Act One alumnus the resources necessary to carry it to the next level of development.

Andrea Nasfell's screenplay Bliss was chosen to be the first project for this new initiative. On November 17, 2005, Andrea was put in a rehearsal room with a professional director and cast for an in-depth, six to seven hour work session. The closed rehearsal culminated in a by-invitation-only read-thru at about 8pm that evening.

If you are a graduate of the Act One Writing Program and wish to have your script considered for such a workshop, mail it to Act One, Prologue Readings, 2690 N. Beachwood Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90068, along with a nomination letter from your writing group stating that they believe the script is ready for this advanced level of development.
